The Sheffield Sharks upset the odds and did so in some style as they routed the Mersey Tigers 93-65 to defend their BBL Cup crown in Birmingham.
Although the Sharks started the final as cup holders, the Tigers were strongly favoured as Tony Garbelotto's team aimed to start their pursuit of a quadruple.

Sheffield became the first team in BBL history to win back-to-back BBL Cups.
