Special One’s son tipped for future glory
If this young fella turns out to be an outstanding boxer, nobody will be shocked.
Ezerra Ray Brook is the child of former world champions Kell Brook and Ebanie Bridges.
He is now just 10 months old, but is already used to shuttling around gyms in Sheffield, in his parents' arms.
His mum is clearly thrilled to have him on board, as both she and Kell prepare to continue their fight careers.
Ebanie talked about Ezerra's bright future as a guest on Johnny Nelson's 'That Boxing Show' podcast.
Nelson said the boy has to be a champion given the genes from "both sides of the fence."
Ebanie replied: "Exactly. If he can inherit Kell's natural ability with my work ethic, he is set for life, whether it be boxing or anything.
"I believe that people should do what they love, what they are passionate about.
"Obviously, we would love him to box, because we both love boxing.
"But whatever he choses to do, I know for the fact that he is going to be the best at it because he's got my mentality behind and that hustle."
Ezzera become the first baby born to two world boxing champions in February.
Kell, 39, is due to fight in Dubai in a charity duel on February 13, a week before his son's first birthday.
It will be his first bout since beating Amir Khan in February 2022 in Manchester Arena.
Ebanie, who is also 39 and a fan of American all-time great Sugar Ray Robinson, lost her world title in December 2023 and is awaiting news on her official return to the ring.
