LIAM CAMERON is tipping a possible upset in the Tyrone Nurse v Joe Elfidh contest tomorrow.
The Sheffield middleweight was beaten three times by Nurse as an amateur and the Huddersfield man is favourite to win the Central Area light welter title at Doncaster Dome. But Cameron believes Harworth man Elfidh can pull off a surprise.
Cameron, who missed out on the recent Kell Brook training camp in the Canaries after snow blocked him in at home in Littledale, Sheffield, and he missed the Manchester flight, said: “You can’t look over Joe. There could be a shock.
“People didn’t expect him to beat Joe Hughes (Hillsborough, last March) but he did. I like them both, but it could be a close run thing.”
Cameron hopes to be in action against next month.
