JOHN FEWKES emerged victorious from his first fight in Sheffield since 2010, tonight.

The Oughtibridge welterweight, 27, outpointed Lancashire’s William Warburton, at Don Valley stadium

Fewkes, who hung up his gloves in 2010, was a comfortable winner over four rounds against a stubborn opponent.

Topping the bill, Crospool fireman Jez Wilson won the vacant British Masters Gold middleweight opponent Taz Jones, KO’ing him with a heavy first round shot.
