BOXING is poised to put an end to two big comeback mysteries.
Sheffield’s Ryan Rhodes, aged 35, will today declare his intentions about whether he is to fight on. And former world champion Ricky Hatton, 33, whose company has promoted Rhodes, could also confirm soon that he is to don the gloves again.
Rhodes remained tight-lipped about his decision when The Star questioned him last night.
But few would criticise him if he was to retire, given defeats at world and European level in the last 15 months. On the other hand, fighting on like Junior Witter has - possibly on the undercard of a Hatton comeback - would be an unforgettable experience.
