Unbeaten lightweight Jordan Gill says Sheffield’s Ingle gym is the top place in the country to train and develop.
The 20-year-old fighter has his fifth fight of the year on Sunday (Leicestershire) and says he is in supreme shape, thanks to training with the likes of world champion Kell Brook.
“You see Kell making his progress after his injury, Kid Galahad is always on it, he’s looking sharp, so to be in a gym with so many top level fighters is remarkable because you look at any other gym in the country and they’ve got aBritish champion that is the pinnacle for them and they look up to that person.
“In our gym, we’ve got British Commonwealth, European, world champions - for us that’s normal” said Gill (11+0) “If you win a British title in our gym you are run of the mill, you are a regular guy so to look up to these guys and do what they do...we train like Kell trains just to keep him ticking along.
“So we are training at world level pace; I am only going to get better from it.”
