Fans of heavyweight boxing are in for a treat in Sheffield, a week on Saturday.

Unbeaten Rotherham fighter Kash Ali will be seeking his seventh consecutive win, at Ponds Forge.

Ali, 22, won his previous six on points, so may be looking to unleash his first knockout at a venue where he has boxed three times previously.

And 6ft 8ins puncher David Howe will be hoping to pick himself up after being TKO’d last time out, by Imantas Davidaitis, of Lithuania, at iceSheffield.

Howe (won 10, lost 2) is 33, and needs to start moving his career along quickly.

But the biggest heavyweight name on the Ricky Hatton card is Lucas Browne, the Aussie who stopped Sheffield giant Richard Towers last November in Hull

He is on a 12-rounder against Eric Martel Bahoeli, of Quebec, Canada, hoping to land the vacant Commonwealth title. Browne is aiming to enhance an unblemished 19 wins scorecard.

Adam Etches (middle) and Scott Jenkins (light) will be competing too.

Top of the bill is Karim Guerfi v Zhanat Zhakiyanov, for the EBU European bantamweight title
