The Star's 'win free tickets to see Kell Brook' competition proved to be a record breaker.

We invited readers to email answers to three questions regarding Sheffield's IBF welterweight champion, who defends his belt against Argentina's Diego Chaves on October 24, at the city's Motorpoint Arena.

The response was amazing - topping any sports competition we have run over the past few years.

It shows what appetite there is in South Yorkshire - and beyond - to see the muscular powerhouse in action.

Today we can announce the winners, drawn at random, as: Hab Rahman, Marc Scrimshaw, Katie Sturch, Daniel Sheldon and Lewis Bagshaw.

Each of the five winners get a pair of tickets for the show.

The tickets will be provided by the promoters Matchroom, on the night.

Details of the winning entries have been provided to Matchroom.

Timothy Bradley, the WBO champion who drew with Chaves in 2014, has claimed Brook has no idea how hard this fight will be.

But unbeaten Brook, who lives with his family in Ecclesall, has prepared well and is ready for action.

He tweeted: "Not long hard week of camp time to sharpen up these chocolate brownies!"
