FLOYD Mayweather has confirmed he will next face Mexican welterweight Robert Guerrero, clearing the way for Sheffield fighter Kell Brook to re-organise his world title tilt clash with Devon Alexander.

Earlier this month, unbeaten five-weight world champion Mayweather hinted he was close to an agreement to fight IBF welterweight title holder Alexander.

It was an announcement that came days after Alexander had pulled out of fighting mandatory challenger Brook, a bout that was supposed to take place this weekend but was postponed for the second time when the American cited a bicep injury.

Brook can now clear his mind of the boxing politics and concentrate on Alexander.
