SHEFFIELD Boxing Centre hopes to celebrate the crowning of their fifth Central Area champion, tonight.

Hillsborough-based Sam Sheedy hopes to overcome Doncaster’s Jason Ball to wear the light middleweight belt, joining stablemates Jez Wilson, Wayne Reed, Curtis Woodhouse and Carl Wild as a champion.

Reed and Wilson are also on the iceSheffield bill in ‘tick-over’ fights.

If Wilson beats Huddersfield’s Alastair Warren, his handler Glyn Rhodes will put him forward for a British title shot.

Reed defends his super middleweight title in December.
