KELL BROOK has the daunting task of repairing British boxing’s reputation in America after Amir Khan’s controversial defeat to Lamont Peterson in Washington.

The loss ups the ante still further on the Sheffield fighter, who makes his US debut in a country that traditionally has little time for British boxers.

Brook, who faces Luis Galarza in Atlantic City says: “I always get nervous before fights but it doesn’t kick in until I’m on the way to the weigh-in - and it focuses you. There’s more pressure on me for this fight as there’s going to be some important people in boxing watching, they want to see what I can do.”
