Boxing: Senchenko could end Brook’s run

Have your say

Amir Khan says he would not be surprised if Sheffield welterweight Kell Brook lost his unbeaten record to Ukrainian veteran Vyacheslav Senchenko later this year.

Brook, yet to be beaten in 30 bouts, is set to take on Senchenko at Sheffield Arena on October 26.

Bolton puncher Khan has again ruled out a potential fight with Brook in the future and last night tweeted: “Why fight him? He ain’t even won a major title in 30+ fights. I won’t be surprised if Senchenko beats him.”

Eddie Hearn, Brook’s promoter, thinks Khan and Brook could face each other in the ring next year.
