SHEFFIELD United lost 1-0 away to Birmingham City with a heartbreaking injury-time winner fired by debutant Kevin Phillips.
The result was harsh on United in a keenly-contested Coca-Cola Championship clash, Sheffield United were resilient against the bookies favourites for Premiership promotion at St Andrews.
The home side enjoyed most of the possession but they failed to register a single shot on target until former Aston Villa and West Brom striker Phillips popped up in the 92nd minute.

A long kick from goalkeeper Maik Taylor was headed on by Garry O'Connor and sub Phillips turned Chris Morgan on the penalty spot to fire into the bottom corner.
United looked worthy of a point against the former Premier League side until the disappointing finish in front of the 24,019 crowd
United boss Kevin Blackwell, missing James Beattie and Keith Gillespie through injury, handed debuts to defenders Sun Jihai and Greg Halford and striker Darius Henderson.
