DBL Sharks Sheffield brought an end to their five-match losing streak in stunning fashion to book their place in the BBL Championship Play-Offs.
Sharks had won just once in their last eight encounters - against Leeds at the beginning of this month - but swept aside Glasgow Rocks with an explosive performance to come out 103-61 victors.
Sharks were outstanding as they ripped the visitors apart from the outset, in what was a far cry from their recent rotten run. The victory for Sheffield also broke the Play-Off dreams of 2018 Cup winners Cheshire Phoenix, who can longer finish in the top eight.
Every player on the Sharks roster got on the scoresheet and the differences in the field goal shooting at half-time brutally underlined the dominance of Sharks who shot 71%, compered to 31% for Rocks.
Sharks started fast and got even quicker and more deadly as they landed a flurry of threes and put themselves out of sight by the interval.
Dirk Williams and Mike Tuck set the tone early with some stellar shooting and continued to impress.
The former finished with a team-high 25 points after dropping several three-pointers, while Tuck went a superb 8 of 9 from the floor.
There were also 17 points from Chris Alexander and 16 from Eddie Brownell on a superb night for Sharks.
