SHEFFIELD Sharks captain Adrian Anderson says the club’s current streak of defeats is unprecedented in the club’s history.

Five defeats in a row, including four in the league, have left the One Health sponsored club languishing in ninth position in the BBL Championship table.

And with the unbeaten Worcester Wolves due to visit the EIS tomorrow, Anderson, who will be missing with a broken hand is hoping the Sharks can pick up a win.

He said: “I can’t remember a run like this for Sharks, and it can affect you one of two ways. Either you come out fired up looking to mend your damaged pride or you come out lacking in pride.

“Hopefully it’ll be the former because I’m sure we’re tired of being on the receiving end of losses and we won’t want it to continue.”
