CHESHIRE Jets could have a big impact on how Sheffield Sharks end the season.
After playing the Jets twice to start the campaign the Sharks will see them on two more occasions before the play-offs begin.
Tomorrow night at the EIS is the first time before their last meeting on the final day of the regular season at the Northgate Arena in Chester.
Sheffield have beaten them on each of their three matches - two in the BBL Trophy and once in the league - so far but Jets’ coach John Lavery says history will count for nothing: “It doesn’t matter what’s gone on in the past, Friday’s a big game for both teams.
“So we just need to make sure we are ready to come to play.
“They seem to be up and down at the moment. But I expect them to come out really hard against us at Sheffield.”
Lavery knows what to expect from the Sharks: “Olu [Babalola] and Mike Tuck are pretty key to them after they replaced [Justin] Dobbins. Jimmy Langhurst and Ryan Patton run the team well.”
