Sharks shooting guard Jeremie Simmons says the best is still to come from his team.
Plymouth Raiders are the visitors to the EIS tonight (7.30pm) with treble-winners Leicester Riders waiting for the Sharks arrival in the East Midlands tomorrow.
But after two victories to start the season the Sharks are confident of another hard fought weekend.
Chicago-born Simmons who scored 10 points in the win over Cheshire last Friday and 11 in the victory against Manchester on Sunday, said: “We are building team chemistry and figuring out our identity.
“We have a lot of talent now it’s time to put it in one motion.
“We expect another tough challenge and a good test for us this weekend.”
Plymouth parted company with coach Gavin Love during the summer. He was replaced by Jay Marriott.
Sharks skipper Mike Tuck thinks the Raiders will be a difficult fixture.
He said: “Plymouth always seems to put together a great team. I’m not sure exactly what to expect, I know they have a new coach and have picked up a few new guys from around the league, like (Ben) Eaves and (Donald) Robinson.
“They will be a strong club and definitely looking to get their first win after a loss to London last weekend.”
