SHEFFIELD Sharks forward Andrew Bridge says he’s being realistic about the prospect of facing title-contenders and BBL Cup champions Leicester Riders on Sunday.

The Sharks are in good form but have lost four times against the Riders this season, including a heavy defeat over two legs in the cup.

Bridge said: “Obviously they’ve beaten us every time we’ve played them which is not ideal for us. We’ve played in different ways each time we’ve met them and we were absolutely hammered last time, but we were competitive the first time.

“They’ll be full of confidence after winning the Cup, and it’s been clear since they won the final that they’re playing well.

“But we’re also playing better than last time we met them, although we’re not over-confident, we’re in a better position than before. It’s also nice to play at Loughborough.”
