GRAVES Park is the venue for tomorrow’s Cutlers Relay which incorporates the Northern Cross Country relay Championships.

Leeds City defend their titles in both the men’s and women’s races.

Rotherham Harriers, winners of the recent Northern Road Relay Championship, will be looking to add another title, although their main focus is on next week’s National Road Relay Championship. That event has been switched to Clumber Park following an outbreak of e coli at the traditional Sutton park venue.

For tomorrow’s three stage relay, Rotherham have Rebecca Middleton, Annabelle Grady and Steph Burns, a strong trio but lacking Jenny Blizard and Jade Allen from their road team.

Hallamshire field a strong team of Nicola Squires, Calli Thackery and Xanthe Wray although they might come under some pressure from their own veterans team of Chaanah Patton, Liz Such and Pippa Wilkie.

In the men’s four stage relay Hallamshire field a quartet of Ben Beattie, Mike Sprot, Rick O’Toole and Tim Robinson.

There are three stage relays for all age groups from under 11 upwards. Northern Road Relay winners at U13 boys level were City of Sheffield.
