Trevor Cotterill and Steve Shannon (21-6) helped Unison beat Yorkshire Main 73-68.

Mick Wainwright and Dennis Reilly won 21-0 for Askern in their 70-63 Division Two win over Wickersley Village.

Thorne Colliery pipped visiting Adwick 84-72. Westfield Park won 79-71 at Wickersley.

Gary Stanley and Calum O’Brien (21-4) were the best pairing for Pilkingtons Recreation C in their 82-54 Division Three win over Bentley Colliery.

Parklands B claimed a narrow 81-77 win at Adwick B.

Wayne Barker and Steve Walker (21-7) gave Pilkingtons Rec C a winning start in their 72-68 victory at Yorkshire Main B.

John Clewer and Andrew Kershaw (21-7) couldn’t prevent Armthorpe B’s 61-51 defeat as visiting Carcroft B had good wins from Joan and Stan Job (21-4) and John Burton and Mark Daniels (21-5).

Tony Scotting and Brian Randerson (21-6) excelled for Unison B as they extended their unbeaten run in Division Four with an 84-50 win at Westfield Park C.

Moira Robb and Peter Hutchinson (21-9) were the match-winners for Tickhill in their 73-60 victory over Pilks Rec D.

Tickhill got a good start from John Hodgson and Dennis Turner (21-6), but Westfield Park B fought back to win 67-53 through Eric and Jo Bubb (21-5) and Bob Knibbs and Bob Sisman (21-6).
