Sheffield Wednesday-linked midfielder set to seal move to relegation rivals, say reports

But it seems that Bournemouth midfielder Nnamdi Ofoborh won’t be joining Sheffield Wednesday after his name emerged as a possible Owls deadline day transfer target.

The 21-year-old Nigeria youth international was reportedly of interest to Wednesday as well as a host of other Championship and League One clubs.

And it seems, as per Football Insider, that Ofoborh is on his way to Wycombe Wanderers.

The versatile youngster was promoted to the Championship while on loan with the Chairboys last season. The mooted move would effectively end his long association with the Cherries given he is expected to agree pre-contract terms with Scottish giants Rangers ahead of a summer move.

The Star understands that Wednesday are working hard to bring players into the squad before the transfer window slams shut at 11pm this evening, with a striker the priority.
