Sheffield restaurant sells "world first" gold leaf cannoli for Valentine's Day

Northtown, on Abbeydale Road, has made a name for itself selling hand-made cannoli, an Italian dessert after launching in lockdown.

Owners Gian Bohan and Pasquale Pollio have now perfected their own brand of ‘gold leaf’ cannoli – a world first according to Daniele Castorina, Head of Cannoli shell production at a leading outlet in Sicily.

They are selling boxes of 12 to mark February 14.

Gian Bohan said: “No country does San Valentino’s Day better than Italy and there’ll be no better way to say ‘I love you’ than Northtown’s Golden Cuore Cannoli box.”
