These photos take you back in time to the 70s, showing how different Yorkshire looked all those years ago.
Cobbled streets, old mills and forgotten factories are among the scenes captured in these nostalgic images.
Lost shops, pubs and clubs, including one nightclub that was reportedly the biggest in Europe, also feature in this retro photo gallery.
And it’s not just the places you might remember, but the faces too, from factory workers to Miss Great Britain, plus two of the decade’s biggest bands.
These pictures shine a light on how we used to live, from people travelling by horse and cart to popular cars of the 70s, including the Ford Cortina and Ford Escort.
They also show how the world was changing back then, including the frozen food stores that were increasingly springing up and the growing dominance of the supermarkets.
A Yorkshire Battle of the Sexes, a footballer-turned-stand-up, and a signwriter who landed himself in deep water are just some of the other arresting images in this trip down memory lane.
Do these photos bring back any happy memories for you of the 1970s?
