The pubs, shops, restaurants, cinemas and other venues pictured pulled in the punters in their droves during the 60s and 70s.
But they have all sadly closed over the years, with some being converted for different uses, others being demolished, and a few still standing empty.
While many old photos capture Sheffield’s streets as they looked all those years ago, few take you inside the premises you might remember frequenting.
These photos do exactly that, showing you shop shelves laden with typical goods from the era, regulars perched on bar stools at much-missed pubs, and tables set ready for that evening’s diners.
You might recall going for a first date, a celebratory meal or a night out with friends at the lost establishments pictured in this retro gallery.
These nostalgic images will also bring back memories of 60s and 70s fashions, from the intricately patterned carpets and curtains to the hairdos and clothes which were in vogue back then.

Do these photos take you back? Which shop, pub, cinema or other venue from the 60s or 70s do you miss most?
