'A loss to Sheffield's heritage conservation'

Ron Clayton, S8, on a loss for the city’s built heritage...

Council Heritage Champion Janet Ridler who recently lost her Stocksbridge and Upper Don seat is a loss to the cause of Sheffield's conservation of its built heritage.

The lady made her presence felt not least in the cause of my favourite Sheffield building - our Anglican Cathedral moreover she was the first to take a hands on role and take the role seriously (as did Councillor Brian Holmshaw from across the floor).

Thank you Janet.
