Looking back on Sheffield's iconic Park Hill flats through the years

As Sheffield’s Park Hill enters the next stage of redevelopment we have found some pictures of what it used to look like when it first opened.

The high-rise flats were built in between 1957 and 1961 and were officially opened by the Queen Mother in 1967.

Here are some pictures of the estate through the ages, from when it first opened, through the derelict days and now looking toward the future when the new student accomodation opens next year.
