Watch: Sheffield digital whizz creates video of Jesus on a podcast
A digital creator has had a mixed reaction to his video of him chatting to the son of God
A digital creator from Sheffield says he has received ‘hate’ for videos of him chatting to Jesus.
Paul Hanson created an AI version of the son of God talking into a microphone for a podcast.
He says he used words “straight from scripture” for Jesus’ responses.

But some people found it “unnerving.”
Paul has previously created images of Jesus based on the Turin shroud and has built a large following online.
He also re-created a walk through of the Hole in the Road in Sheffield.
On the new podcast he said: “The views haven’t really taken off, not enough people seem to like it, and I’ve had a lot more hate than expected.

“One person said: ‘Anything that strays away from biblical context including scenery and scenarios, even if the text is biblical, is un-nerving, it's more like a false revival than a re-enactment, in my opinion brother’.”
Paul added: “If I'd have put it in a biblical setting but he said the same things, I don't think it would have had the same impact.
“Some were saying it's nice to see how relatable it is. So I had mostly good comments from it.”
