Once a thoroughfare used by farmers taking their cattle to market, London Road in Sheffield became a place to set up shop by the late 18th and early 19th centuries, and is still packed with family-run businesses.

Eventually London Road meets Abbeydale Road, which - along with Queens Road and Broadfield Road - make up the Sheffield Antiques Quarter, full of cafés, quirky independent shops and antique treasure troves.
