Channel 4's The Undateables is looking for new stars - here's how to apply

One of the nation's most popular dating shows is looking for people to star in its ninth season.

Channel 4's The Undateables follows singletons with a variety of disabilities or learning difficulties and helps them to find love.

The show, which returned to our screens this week for its eighth season, was nominated for a BAFTA award in 2014.

TV production company Betty, which makes the series, works with introduction agencies to try and match their clients based on common interests, likes, dislikes and location.

A casting call on Channel 4's website says: "Once again we will be following disabled people and those with a variety of conditions through the highs and lows of their quest to find love.

"As with all previous series, we will explore and challenge some of the issues and barriers faced."
