Police probe into death of Doncaster woman killed in tractor collision still ongoing

A police investigation into the death of a Doncaster woman who was killed when she was in collision with a tractor is still ongoing, nearly four months on from the tragedy.

Lorraine Walker, 63, suffered fatal injuries in the incident in Newton Lane, Sprotbrough on November 5 last year.

It is understood that the green tractor, which had a single axle trailer attached, was reversing onto Newton Lane at the time.

She suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 30-year-old man driving the tractor was arrested on suspicion of driving offences. He was released under investigation while enquiries continue.

Police remain keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision, especially any motorists who might hold dash-cam footage.
