Lines between Sheffield and Doncaster are blocked this morning after Storm Christoph wreaked havoc, causing major flooding at Rotherham Central.

Northern shared this image as it advised passengers that services between Doncaster and Sheffield are being diverted between Swinton and Meadowhall, with rail replacement coaches running between Rotherham and Meadowhall.

Passengers travelling to Rotherham Central should alight the train at Meadowhall and board a replacement bus service to Rotherham Central, said the operator.

Northern added that Network Rail is monitoring water levels at the site and disruption is expected to continue until the end of the day.
