Sheffield venue relaxes with Lazy Sunday music sessions

Nonnas Italian restaurant and bar on Ecclesall Road is launching regular Lazy Sunday live music sessions on January 6 with an appearance by guitarist Steve Delaney.

Steve, who founded 1950s rock and roll party band The Sharp Cuts, will be playing solo from 3pm to 5pm in the first of what will become a weekly event.   

Nonnas proprietor Maurizio Mori said: “Live music has been proving hugely popular for us so we’ve taken the decision to add regular Sunday afternoon events.”

Vocalist Georgie Harrison returns for the venue’s  first Prosecco Club Night of 2019 next  Wednesday, January 9, from 7pm and saxophone player Simon Peat performs at the next Thursday night jazz and blues event. Admission is free to all music events.
