Richard will join with former The Czars frontman John Grant and singer-songwriter and The Coral founder Bill Ryder-Jones. Each will play three shows at three different venues on the night, playing a stripped-down acoustic set.

No-one knows who is opening, playing second or headlining each intimate gig in Trafalgar Warehouse, Upper Chapel, and Sheffield University Drama Studio. The event is already sold out, though.

Tickets for the City Hall gig are available from the City Hall box office, by calling 0114 278 9789 or online at www.sheffieldcityhall.co.uk
