A leading children's illustrator will host a series of free workshops for youngsters in Sheffield to mark World Book Day this Thursday.

Layn Marlow, who has provided the artwork for a slew of much-loved children's books, is sure to prove a big draw.

She will be on tour with the Little Library on Thursday, March 2, at:

* Sheffield Central Library, from 10am-11am

* Crystal Peaks Library 11.30am-12.30pm

* Ecclesall Library 1.45pm-2.45pm

She will host a workshop at each venue for youngsters aged three to five, themed around her book 'I'll Catch You If You Fall'.
