The Blades go into the game 12 points adrift of safety at the bottom but will be buoyed by Saturday’s FA Cup victory over Plymouth Argyle at Bramall Lane – their second win in three games in all competitions.

As for Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s side, they defeated arch-rivals Liverpool in the Cup on Sunday and currently have a two-point lead over neighbours City at the top of the Premier League.
