The Irish stopper misses tonight’s game at the Brentford Community Stadium with broken ribs and his place in the starting XI has been taken by Joe Wildsmith.

Wednesday caretaker manager Neil Thompson has made four other changes from the side which lost 1-0 to Birmingham City at Hillsborough on Saturday, with Osaze Urhoghide, Elias Kachunga, Adam Reach and Jordan Rhodes coming in for Chey Dunkley, Josh Windass, Liam Shaw and Callum Paterson respectively.

Our Owls correspondent, Joe Crann, writes: “So I’d think that’s SWFC back to a three-man defence with Harris and Penney out as wingbacks.

“Rhodes obviously leading the line, but it’ll be interesting to see if Reach and Kachunga are sitting just behind him or are more out wide as a three-man attack. Bannan and Hutchinson central.

“Would think it’ll be about the wide-men getting as many balls into the box to JR as possible, and Reach/Kacha will be asked to create, too.”

But what are Wednesdayites saying about tonight’s changes?

Let’s take a look at what some are saying on Twitter.

@Gavrisk What does Brown or Dele-Bashiru have to do to get a chance?

@oliswfc23 In desperate need of a proper manager.

@markham86 Very attacking, could be fun.

@waynejackson84 Am I the only one fearing the worst tonight?

@aaronswallow26 Keep it under five tonight boys.

@jonogarnett Show me a team with worse luck with injuries than #swfc. Tha can't.

@griffiths_tom41 No Westwood is worrying. Oh well, I’ve got no expectations so can only be pleasantly surprised if the miracle comes off.
