A MILLION miles by Zeppelin is the title of a talk to be given to the Dronfield Probus Club for retired gentlemen on July 20.

Robert Bragg will be telling the story of the Graf Zeppelin, the giant German passenger-carrying airship which operated commercially from 1928 to 1937.

It was named after the German pioneer of airships, Ferdinand von Zeppelin, and made 590 flights, covering more than a million miles.

The club meets at the Contact Club on Snape Hill Lane in Dronfield, on Wednesdays at 10am.
