Roundabout is Sheffield’s youth homeless charity which provides shelter, support and life skills to young people aged 16-24. They have various services which aim to reduce youth homelessness in our city and a hostel for 27 young people, located in the Highfield area.

“As soon as we heard about this new run, we were eager to get involved,” explains Ruth Gage, Roundabout’s Fundraising and Communications Manager.

“The partnership with Run For All Events has already raised over £5,000 thanks to some of our supporters who have taken part in the events and collected a generous amount in sponsorship.

“We encourage lots of people to take part in this new run and expect it will be very popular. The atmosphere is always incredible and they cater for runners of all abilities.”

Roundabout have a number of charity places available, and they ask that their runners raise a minimum of £100.

Charlie Tatman, Run For All Event Manager, said: “We look forward to working in partnership with Sheffield City Council to put on another event in this great city.

“Since its launch last year, the Yorkshire Half Marathon-Sheffield has been warmly embraced by the city and we are confident the new Asda Foundation Sheffield 10K will prove just as popular with runners and spectators alike.”
