“The BBC is under pressure to sack Gary Lineker” according to the front page of a national newspaper. “It’s not going to happen” says arrogant BBC ‘untouchable’ Lineker.
In the last few days, the Match of the Day presenter tweeted, “The treatment by some towards these young refugees is hideously racist and utterly heartless.”
He also sent a message that suggested a child migrant, whose age had been questioned, was actually a Home Office interpreter.
The Home Office later said he was NOT an interpreter, who’s lying?
According to Tory MP Alec Shelbrooke, “Lineker needs to decide if he’s a political activist or a BBC sports journalist, he can’t be both”.
Once again, someone with mouth open before brain in gear, too many crisps maybe?
If he receives his P45 he could always adopt a few of these migrant kids, not so sure about the schools and NHS services in his area though, mind you he could afford to go private and the benefits he would receive should soften the blow of his job loss somewhat.
