IT is the ground breaking Sheffield-based competition which throws together musicians and film makers at random - then challenges them to create a music video in just a fortnight.
The 2Weeks 2Make It contest is now in its fifth year, and has previously featured luminary city bands such as Dead Like Harry and Alvarez Kings.
Each act is paired with a film-making team to make the video before a panel of judges decide a winner at a special screening and awards evening.
“It’s a perfect platform to get your work recognised,” says organiser Rob Speranza, of The South Yorkshire Filmmakers Network.
Prizes include a record distribution contract, equipment, booze and cold hard cash.
Application forms available at www.syfn.org/2weeks.html before the May 2 deadline. The launch night will be May 5 at a venue still to be confirmed.
