Like some of your recent correspondents, I too am tired of reading letters from Terry Palmer and others droning on about their beloved Brexit.
I would like to remind them that Leave won by a small majority not a landslide and therefore does not reflect the opinions of the whole population. Many, many people, like myself, were saddened by the result.
I appreciate that Brexit must now go ahead but I applaud the decision of the independent judges who upheld the principles of parliamentary democracy and the British Constitution which are in place to protect us from potential dictatorship.
Ironically, we are constantly reminded by some pro-Leave supporters that protection of this constitution is one of the reasons we fought two world wars.
