Now the awesome This Is England is to return for a second series - this time set in 1988 - and parts are to be filmed here in Sheffield.

The producers are looking for extras and if you have that throwback look they want to hear from you.

Email Tom Rye at with side and front head shot, full head and body shot, and your vital stats - height, chest, waist, inside leg and shoe.

Chance to act up

LIKE your nights out to come with a spot of live theatre?

Sheffield acting school, StandBy Method Acting, is throwing a launch party and students are to perform for revellers.

When we say launch, of course, the classes have actually been running four months - but why let that stand in the way of a good night?

There will also be live music, DJs and cupcakes.

Takes place Revolution, in Fitzwilliam Street, city centre, on Sunday from 7pm. Tickets £3 on door.
