Artificial owls on roof

Have your say

As the flag of Texas flies proudly over the Alamo, so does the standard of the Owls play-off final flutter over the Java Lounge roof on Hillsborough Corner.

But lo and behold the feral pigeons that once squatted there so ominously like a scene from The Birds have fled the coop. Now they may have fled to St Mark’s Square in Venice or Trafalgar Square because the fare there is better than congealed kebab or pizza crusts edged with teeth marks or cold French fries sautéed in Carling, but I know the real reason – the presence of two fearsome artificial owls on the roof.
