SPORTS stars will be put on the spot at a question time event at Hellaby Hall in Rotherham next Thursday.
On the panel will be Olympic and Commonwealth medal winner Peter Elliott, from Rotherham, world champion bobsleigh driver Nicola Minichiello and Rotherham Titans fly-half Peter Swatkins.
They will be joined by top physiologist Professor Edward Winter from Sheffield Hallam University.
He will talk about what exactly it takes to keep a top athlete in shape and tell of his experiences of helping world class athletes prepare for success.
The event is hosted by BBC Radio Sheffield and backed by Rotherham Council.
It will give the audience an opportunity to put questions to the panel and find out the qualities needed to get to the top in sport.
Tickets are free but must be booked in advance at http://bit.ly/etKo1i, a Sheffield Hallam University website.
There will be fundraising on the night by the Rotherham Mayor’s nominated charities.
The charities are Homestart Rotherham, the Rotherham Lions Welfare Fund and the Rotherham Samaritans.
