You couldn't make it up
It's wonderful that our fantastic and heroic Women of Steel are having their statue erected outside the City Hall in June.
But, and I find this unbelievable, two of them made the six-hour round trip to a foundry in Gloucestershire to see it being poured.
We’re the Steel City for heaven’s sake, surely we have a foundry to have melted the bronze and poured it?
You couldn’t make it up.
I couldn’t agree more with reader David Potts’ letter of April 8.
