A ROWDY council tenant who made her neighbours’ lives a misery by repeatedly playing loud music has been ordered to leave her home.
Emma Davies, of Townhead Street, Sheffield city centre, ignored many warnings to turn down the noise and there were also complaints of cannabis smells from her top floor flat.
A district judge at Sheffield County Court said he was ‘quite satisfied the loud music had made it virtually impossible for tenants in adjoining properties to live a normal existence’.
He said there had been ‘persistent breaches’ of Ms Davies’ tenancy agreement and ‘suspension of the possession order was pointless’ as Ms Davies had not shown any remorse.
She must vacate by next Thursday, or be evicted. She was also ordered to pay the council’s legal costs of £3,459.
