Worried by mindless act of stupidity

As a member of The British Hedgehog Preservation Society, I was shocked, sickened, disgusted and most of all worried about the stability of people that could do such cruel acts to animals! (The Star, April 5).

Hedgehog numbers have decreased by 30 percent in the last ten years alone, and are now as endangered as tigers. Luckily, although sick with other problems, it will hopefully make a full recovery.

It seems that yet again, students have little regard for what this fine city has (recalling the war memorial urination incident).

I hope the university is investigating this mindless act of stupidity, and acts accordingly!
