World champ tests device

A NEW fitness monitoring device introduced at Ponds Forge in Sheffield has been tested out by world para-triathlon champion Steve Judge.

The Myzone technology, which wirelessly streams and uploads an individual’s exercise data, was also tested by Sheffield Eagles’ Adam Hughes and exercise referral manager Dave Birds, from Sheffield International Venues, which runs Ponds Forge, at a special product launch event.

Steve said: “As a para-triathlete my workouts are incredibly important to me. Myzone provides an excellent opportunity not only to track my set goals for myself, but to monitor whether I am reaching these goals - showing whether I need to push myself further or set myself a more challenging target.

“I’d recommend anyone to try it.”
