A series of workshops is being organised by Derbyshire Wildlife Trust to discuss plans for a new catchment partnership for the River Derwent.

They are open for anyone interested in the river, from anglers to land managers, water sports enthusiasts and walkers and follow a pilot project for the Ecclesbourne River, which included education and awareness raising with schools and local communities, habitat improvements and river monitoring schemes.

The workshops are at Gothic Warehouse, Mill Lane, Cromford, on Tuesday, April 29, from 7pm to 8.45pm and Bamford Village Institute, Main Road, Bamford on Wednesday, April 30, from 7.15pm to 9pm.
