Work begins on Sheffield free school

Chapeltown Academy will be built at Hydra Business Park near Ecclesfield, and will be the newest sixth form covering the north of the city.

Councillors initially rejected a planning application for the school, but the decision was overturned following a High Court appeal.

The school has been in temporary premises for two years and will move over the summer months.
